These circles are so much fun to make. The circles can be used for making an absolutely easy Double Wedding Ring quilt, or use them for table runners, pillows, and picture frames. The example at the left does not look like granny's DWR, but you can make a traditional one with these circles. You won't have to struggle with curved piecing or "footballs" or "melons." The cicles can be sewn to background fabric with a simple running stitch or appliqued by machine. The circles are smooth around the edges so no needle turning is required if you want to hand applique. Six pages in COLOR make the directions very clear. The circles are paper foundation pieced.
The pattern was tested by 24 quilters in a swap and they liked it. Click on the spinning circle to see some examples of creative circles.
